Dev Log 6 - Big picture mode graphics 21/05/2024
For this week, since i have pretty much completed the game and all functional requirements, i decided to create some graphics that are required for the game page on the arcade cabinet, for the steam big picture mode.
although my artistic skills are quite lacking i made some quick mock ups of the images in the right aspect ratios in piskel, before exporting those images and putting them into adobe illustrator to add text and some sprites used in the game.
i had found the experience in creating these a bit tedious due to illustrator exporting the images with a larger aspect ratio which forced me to crop the extra blank spaces out. But overall i am pleased with the results and feel comfortable in implementing them in when it is time to get the game fully built and working on steams big picture mode.
